The Dial House picnic hamper, vintage Louis Vuitton, mid-century antiques, a mid-summer night’s dinner & the Fathers’ Day roast dinner

HELLO EVERYBODY and welcome to our brand new monthly magazine, Dial House Lifestyle. Each month we’ll pull together our thoughts, insider tips and special offers and share them exclusively with you. It’s been a month since Andrew and I moved in and we’re still clinging to the ceiling with excitement.

We’re looking forward to having you all with us on this new adventure. Over the last few weeks seeing Andrew’s new dishes fly out of the kitchen on our beautiful hand-made plates has felt pretty awesome. In case you didn’t know, we’re more than a gastronomic restaurant with 8 insanely beautiful ‘Grand Tour’ themed bedrooms styled by leading Norfolk designer Annabel Grey. Book a room here. Everything downstairs is unique too AND for sale plus we’re home to The Country Salon hairdressers and The Green Room, a preloved clothing boutique. We’re also the only showroom in the county for traditional, cast iron radiators, custom built by Paladin. Try before you buy. So you can visit us to eat, sleep, shop, and even trim – it’s a lifestyle. Have your cake and eat it.

Off to Wells beach? Or for a local summer bike ride? Or need inspiration for a new picnic spot? On 18th June it’s national picnic week – and a fitting time for us to launch our Dial House picnic hamper. For hotels residents, locals and passers by – come one and all! Order by 10pm the night before and we’ll create you a special picnic which includes sandwiches, sausage rolls, cake, fruit, soft drinks and our very own Dial House picnic map with our recommended hot spots. Upgrade and we’ll include a bottle of wine or champagne.
Prices start at £27 for two people which includes a Dial House bag for life or a wicker hamper. Click to order.

*Tag us on facebook or instagram with a photo of you eating your Dial House picnic and using the hashtag #thedialhousepicnicsand you’ll be in with a chance of winning your next picnic free. One winner will be drawn every month.

ANDREW is doing a culinary road trip around the county this Summer. This month he’ll be doing cooking demontrations at Norwich Food Festival on Sunday 17th June and The Norfolk Show on Thursday 29th June.

Featured here this month is a 1950s rare and original Mid Century Jacqueline Groag Warerite Harlequin pattern laminate formica framed wall hanging (76cm x 44cm) £245

This is a one-off, very rare piece from the 50s Festival of Britain Era. Amazing modernist design/colour palette by Jacqueline Groag for Warerite, one of the leading Laminate products company.
